This policy explains what data Syncporter ("we") collects on this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest.
What we collect
Data you send us
When you request a free migration audit, we collect your name, email address, website domain, and current ecommerce platform. We use this data only to prepare and deliver your audit and to reply to you. It is sent to us by email and is not stored in any database on this website.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. Until you accept cookies in the consent banner, analytics and advertising storage stay disabled (Google Consent Mode v2, all signals denied by default). You can decline and the site works exactly the same.
Spam protection
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to filter automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect device and interaction data under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Legal bases
Under the GDPR, we process audit request data to take steps at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), analytics data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), and spam-protection data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. It is processed by the following providers on our behalf: Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Gmail for delivering audit requests) and Vercel (website hosting). Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Audit request emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (14 months).
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Managing cookies
You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the consent banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in browser settings.
